Kronos: Payroll Gone Wild Meme Wall Calendar

The Ask: 

Design a fun, casual, wall calendar within Kronos existing brand guidelines to celebrate National Payroll Week for existing and perspective customers. Additionally, we were asked to include random goofy holidays to celebrate, like National Ice Cream day or International Pet day.

Following the success of this campaign and many requests, an additional version of the calendar was created with HR professionals in mind.

How it Started:

• I reviewed existing brand guidelines

• We met as a team to connect our ideas and then met with some internal payroll professionals to see if they found our memes funny.

• We created three concepts and the Animal Meme concept was chosen by the marketing team.

Our Inspiration: 

• Memes, we looked at so many existing memes

• A long list of animal themed holidays, both serious and silly

• Bright colors within existing brand guidelines

The Concept:

• The concept ties the images and copy to specific holidays in each month. Some months are tied to commonly celebrated holidays like Valentine’s Day or Halloween, while others focus on lesser known, humorous holidays like “If Pets Had Thumbs Day” “I Forgot Day” and “Work Like a Dog Day.”
